Annadanam Donation Online for Poor & Needy Children in Dehradun

Annadanam

Feeding a hungry child is one of the noblest acts one can do. In our country, many poor and homeless children go to bed with an empty stomach every night. They live in slum areas, on the streets, or in broken shelters, with little hope for a better tomorrow. But through Annadanam Seva, we can bring change—one meal at a time.

Annadanam is not just about food. It is about love, care, and humanity. It is said in our scriptures that giving food to the needy is the highest form of service. It nourishes not only the body of the receiver but also the soul of the giver. When you donate food to a poor child, you are offering them hope, comfort, and strength.

1. Why Annadanam Matters

Through your kind donations, we provide warm and nutritious meals to poor children in different slum areas of Dehradun. Our team at SRSHTI (Sardar Ranjodh Singh Health and Training Initiative) works every day to reach those who are hungry and helpless.

In the last one year, we have served food to children and families across more than 15–20 slum areas. These children often have no one to look after them. Many of them don’t go to school because they are too hungry to study. Through our Annadanam program, we are not only feeding them but also giving them the strength to live, learn, and grow.

2. More Than Just Food – It’s About Uplifting Lives

Every meal we serve carries a deeper purpose. We don’t just hand over food and walk away. We speak to the children, sit with them, and treat them with dignity. Our goal is to show them that they matter, and they are not forgotten.

We also run free health camps for these communities. Many of them cannot afford even basic healthcare. Our camps provide free check-ups, health advice, and medicines. For some people, this is their first visit to a doctor in years.

Along with food and healthcare, we support the education of 30 underprivileged children. We pay their school fees and ensure they get a daily meal. This helps them stay in school and dream of a better future.

3. Be a Part of the Change

You can become a part of this beautiful mission. Your Annadanam donation will help us serve more meals, reach more slums, and support more children.

Here’s how your donation helps:

  • ₹100 feeds 2 hungry children
  • ₹500 feeds a small group of 10 kids
  • ₹1100 can sponsor one slum Annadanam event
  • Any amount you donate adds a plate to someone’s meal

All donations are eligible for tax benefits under section 80G. But beyond the tax savings, you receive blessings from every child you help.

4. A Simple Act, A Big Impact

Each donation you make supports a child who might otherwise sleep hungry. It brings a smile to a mother’s face who cannot feed her kids. It gives hope to a child who wants to study and make something out of life.

By choosing to donate to our Annadanam initiative, you become a part of something greater than yourself. You join a community of kind people who believe in service, compassion, and love.

5. How to Donate for Annadanam

Donating is simple and safe. Visit our donation page and choose the amount you wish to give. You can make a one-time donation or set up a monthly contribution to continue supporting children regularly. We also accept digital payments through UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets.

Whether you are donating ₹100 or ₹10,000, every rupee makes a difference in the lives of innocent children.

6. Hunger-Free Future

At SRSHTI, we are working day and night to ensure no child goes to bed hungry. But we can’t do it alone. We need your support, your love, and your kindness. Let us come together to create a movement of kindness, a movement to feed, heal, and educate every poor child in our city and beyond.

”Your one meal can change someone’s world”
Because Annadanam is not just giving food—it’s giving life.
