Our work is based on three important pillars Health, Hunger, and Education. We believe that no child should suffer due to lack of food, basic medical care, or education. By focusing on these three areas, we are building a strong foundation for the future of these children.

2. Fighting Hunger, Supporting Health & Promoting Education

Before a child can learn, they must be healthy and well-fed. That’s why Srshti runs a Slum Feeding Program to make sure children and their families do not sleep hungry. We serve meals in slum areas across Dehradun, helping hundreds of families every day.

In addition, we hold healthcare camps to provide free medical check-ups, basic medicines, and awareness about cleanliness and hygiene. These steps are important in creating a better environment for children to study. But the real heart of our work is education. We believe every child deserves the right to learn, no matter where they come from.

3. Adopting School Fees – Empowerment of Education

For many families in slum areas, paying school fees is just not possible. Often, children are pulled out of school to help earn money or look after siblings. At Srshti, we adopt the school fees of children from these families, so they don’t have to drop out of school. By covering their fees, we take away the burden from parents and give children a chance to continue their education with dignity and joy. This small step has a huge impact on the life of a child and their family.

4. Providing Study Materials and Digital Tools

We provides notebooks, pens, textbooks, school bags, and even tablets where possible. These simple items bring a smile to their faces and help them follow the lessons properly. We recently donated supplies to a local school and saw the excitement among students as they received their kits. Education becomes easier and more fun when children have the right tools.
