Roots of Change: Plantation Drive by SRSHTI

On 12th July 2025, SRSHTI organized a meaningful Plantation Drive along
Thano Road, Dehradun, as part of our ongoing efforts toward environmental
restoration and sustainability. The drive brought together volunteers, students,
and local residents who came forward to contribute to a greener and healthier
future.

During the drive, over 100 trees were planted, including environmentally
significant species like bamboo, amla, mango, arjun, and other native varieties.
These trees were carefully selected for their ecological benefits — from
improving air quality and enriching the soil to supporting local wildlife and
providing long-term shade and fruit.

This initiative was not just about planting trees; it was about planting hope,
resilience, and awareness. With every sapling, we sowed the seeds of change
— a future where clean air, green spaces, and community-driven conservation
are a way of life.

SRSHTI remains committed to building a more sustainable tomorrow — one
